I am the owner and operator of Birth Angel Doula Services, LLC. I hold a bachelors degree in early childhood education, and have worked with infants and their families for many years. I started my doula service after a friend of mine suggested that I be present for the birth of her son as her doula. After much research about what a doula is and what one does, I decided to go through the certification process. In the past, I’ve always nurtured infants and their families in a childcare setting, and decided to see what it was like to be present during the birthing process, and to nurture both mother and baby.

I’ve received my training through DONA International. Based on my personal experience with neonatal death, I provide birth assistance free of charge to families that have experienced early to late term miscarriage, death of the unborn or newborn infant, or to families given a devastating diagnoses during pregnancy.
