Elizabeth Smith

I am the owner of Birth Angel Doula Services, LLC. I hold a bachelors degree in early childhood education, and have worked with infants and their families for many years.  I started my doula service in 2006 after a friend suggested that I be present for the birth of her son as her doula.  After much research about what a doula is and what one does, I joined my friend for her son's birth.  It was amazing!  I decided afterwards that I'd become a certified doula and haven't looked back. I received my training through DONA International and have had the pleasure of attending many beautiful births since. In the past, I've nurtured infants and their families in a childcare setting, and thought it was a natural transition to be present during the birthing process to nurture both mother and baby.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 10 years (together 18 years) and am the mother of four beautiful girls and an angel baby boy.
